ABOUT THE COURSE

The objective of this qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding to deliver personalised care as part of a health coaching programme, in order to promote the health and wellbeing of individuals, groups and communities.

​

The qualification is mapped against the learning outcomes included in the core capabilities, to enable and support people and the health coaching and community-based support sections of the Personalised Care Institute curriculum.

​COURSE CONTENT

​

• Principles and Concepts of Health Coaching

• The Wider Determinants of Health and Health Inequality

• Theories of Behaviour Change, Principles of Motivational Techniques and their Application to Personalised Care

• Effective Communication

• Motivational Interviewing

Total Qualification Time is 130 hours.  (Average time for completion studying 10 hours per week is 13 weeks)

This fully online course is accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health.

​

Course Delivery

This is a 100% self-paced online course, delivered on our AHG Online Academy site.    With a combination of e-books, video, audio,  and pre-recorded zoom classes, we cover all learning styles.  You have up to 12 months to complete the course.

COURSE FEE  

​

The cost of this course is £999.00, which can be paid in full with a 10% discount.  If you wish to pay in instalments, this will be 6 monthly payments of £166.50  The course will be unlocked over 6 months.

CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion you will be awarded the RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Health Coaching.

​

You will be eligible for UKIHCA Affiliate Membership upon certification.
